General Ordering FAQ
How do I place an order?
Click on the "Store" tab to place an online reservation via PayPal. Or you may download our order form and mail it in with a deposit.
When do I need to order?
We harvest our beef twice a year, in the Summer and Fall. Our supply is limited and we always sell out well in advance, so please order early!
How do we pick up our beef?
Our meat is butchered at the Island Grown Farmer's Co-op (IGFC) facility West of Burlington, WA. Bow is an easy 90-minute drive from Seattle. The IGFC facility is located at 11719 Westar Lane, WA.
The beef comes VERY frozen; you do not need to race home! Bring a couple of sleeping bags or blankets to wrap around your boxed beef and enjoy a nice lunch on the way home.
We send out Instructions for picking up your beef once we have the dates confirmed from the IGFC.
What other pickup options are there?
We do a Seattle metro area rendezvous for each harvest at Alderwood Mall (junction of I-5 and 405).
How do I cook Wagyu beef?
Wagyu beef really is different from other beef. Our experience is that Wagyu should be treated as you would a delicate fish. Reduce cooking time and heat lightly. Do not overcook it! Enjoy the beef a bit more rare than you might otherwise, and allow the flavors to shine.
