• Our highly selective breeding program has enabled us to create an outstanding Wagyu herd. We run a closed herd (no buying market steers and finishing them). We know every animal personally and are very selective in our breeding practices.

  • We operate using a "zero stress" management style, which supports the land, wildlife, and our cattle.

  • Our cattle are raised without hormones or antibiotics. We produce all of our own hay from fields that are free of herbicides and chemical fertilizers.

  • We harvest our beef at a mature two years which brings out the best flavors in Wagyu beef.

  • On farm slaughter is performed using a clean, stress-free corral system and a USDA inspected mobile slaughter unit that is operated by the Island Grown Farmers Cooperative
